The world’s most expensive home sale took place in London, England with the purchase of a 5-story Victorian villa in Kensington. The sales price was a whopping £80 million ($159.3 million.) It is the most expensive sale of a stand alone home in the world. It was reportedly purchased by Ukrainian business woman and philanthropist Elena Franchuk. The house, formerly a girls prep school, has at least 10 bedrooms, a gym, sauna, theatre, underground swimming pool and a working “panic room”.  Hmm…
